Family Road Trip

This last weekend, we took our first family road trip. We had the opportunity to be a part of Adam and Rachel's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding, amazing venue - and we could not be more happy for Adam and Rachel. We wish them all the best and can't wait to be a part of their married future.
We set out for the 4 hour drive with a bit of anxiety (not knowing how Callie would do) but she was a fabulous traveler. The 4 hour drive took us a bit longer (due to feedings) but we always seemed to be able to find a Burgerville to stop at.
The wedding was spectular and we felt very loved by the Roselli family! (I haven't met another family that is so good at making people feel like family and giving out hugs!) Pastor Preston did a fabulous job and the Graham family had a blast at the wedding.

On the way home we stopped at Multnomah Falls and took a very small hike (with about 100 other people). It was beautiful!

Another Plane Ride

So, Callie and I spent my spring break in Pennsylvania. It was a wonderful trip and Callie just LOVED being spoiled by all her aunts and uncles, cousins, and grandmas! (she was a bit in shock when we came back home and she was stuck with just mom and dad - she also took a two hour nap the day we got back, which she has never, never (and probably never will again) done, traveling sure is exhausting!). I was a bit nervous about the very long plane ride, but besides not eating at all, Callie did fabulous! Although, she never really did understand why she couldn't grab the people sitting next to us or in front of us. Even though she got sick on the way back, she was still a wonderful traveler. She loved sitting with Grandma and looking out the plane window (yuck!). We met Grandma in Chicago - at that point in time both Grandma and Callie needed a snuggle, so they spent part of our layover cuddling up in the airport. (sorry, I took these with my cell phone) Looking out the ...

Bikes

We are now a family of 4 pretty impressive bike riders.

Sun River 2018

For mid winter break, we headed up to Sun River for the week. As always, it did not disappoint! The kids had a blast spending the week with Grandma and Grandpa, all their cousins, skiing, and playing in the snow. This year we started with no snow on the ground and ended with a blizzard that made driving home very tricky. Liam stayed home with Grandma while Callie and I skied. Although it is always hard to be left behind, he loves his Grandma so much and they had an absolute blast together. I'm also realizing that she took all the pictures so I have very few with her...major bummer! We celebrated these 2 boys on this trip.  When there is this many kids, you not only take over the whole run but there it is also very difficult to figure out which way to go.... Grandpa and his gang Pretty soon we won't all fit on one couch. Unfortunately our sister/dad ski day did not go as planned. Sarah took a spill the day before and was not able to ski with us for ...
