Summer Fun

It's safe to say that we have been trying very hard to enjoy every single moment of summer. We have hit local beaches, local farms, gone hiking, tried all the parks around us, and visiting the museums around us. We visited a local farm and headed down to see the horses in the lower pasture Visiting daddy for lunch We hit up a couple beaches. Played in the lake, dug in the sand, and played on the playground. We found a local park that is perfect for riding scooters. As you can tell by the look of Liam's face, he tries extremely hard to keep up with his sister. So far we have not gotten frustrated that we can't keep up with her.  Visiting the Seattle library It's safe to say that they are bonding...

Pre Fourth of July Fun

The kids and I headed up to Hoodsport before everyone else and on the way we hit up the zoo. The kids had a blast. It's so nice to be a bit less reliant on nap schedule - we can push Liam a bit longer and some days can even go without a nap. It had been a long time since we had gone to the zoo and the kids were so happy to be there. Love this girl so much! They had a lot of fun doing this slide together A snail and a sea anemone  Instead of crawling through the tunnel....I find my kids snuggling together... The best picture I could get of the 2 of them together This girl has the most infectious laugh The next day, we headed up to staircase to get in a hike. Wasn't sure how long Liam would make it but he refused to go in the back pack and walked the entire thing. Success! The hike was beautiful. With the kids the age they are, I feel like we actually get to enjoy the views.  They made it! Towards the end, we

Fourth of July Fun

We headed up to Hoodsport for the Fourth of July weekend. We were joined with the Sarions and the Jones clan. A lot of smiles, a lot of giggles, and a lot of memories were made. The kids had a lot of late nights which included fireworks and movies. I think it is safe to say that the kids had fun and the grown ups got to relax a bit.  Somehow we managed to actually get a good shot of all the kids (Lola included) It's so nice to be able to go away for a weekend with family and have the kids truly enjoy each other. You can see how much they love being around each other in their smiles and faces! This little boy had so much fun but was so exhausted by the last day! Sisters A bit of beach play Waiting for the boat rides Digging for crabs  Its safe to say that these ladies love each other And there was ice cream....
