Who needs a thumb when you have a fist?!

Well, we have not learned to suck our thumb yet, but we can officially put our entire fist into our mouth!

Date with Daddy

How do I look for my lunch date with Daddy?! (I have to confess, not the best picture I've taken of her - looking a little chubby in the face....don't tell her I said that)

Pumpkin Patch

We lucked out and got some beautiful fall weather on Sunday and headed to the pumpkin patch. Although Callie, slept the entire time, we like to think she enjoyed this first Halloween activity :-) Preston, of course, found the "perfect" pumpkin for Callie! Kind of funny having all three of us girls with carriers - too bad Sarah wasn't in this picture! Laurel sitting on her pumpkin pick A lot of time was done evaluating the pumpkins to find just the right one Can you feel the excitement?! :-) The favorite mode of transportation

Tired of Tummy Time

So for the last week or so, Callie has decided that she is not super fond of tummy time. This Monday she decided to do something about it: ( I had nothing to do with it) What a big girl! I also have a video of her doing it, once I figure out how to convert the file I will upload it :-)

2 Months!!!

Wow! Time really flies..... Callie is officially 2 months old and continues to amaze us every day.  Here's some updates about our little bug: She weighs 11 lbs 8 oz  which puts her in the 67 percentile. She continues to be a long, tall child (not sure who she is getting that from) and is in the 95 percentile for length. She has officially found her hands and is starting to control them much more. She has started sucking on her hands - can't quite find her fingers, so as of right now, she is shoving her entire fist in her mouth. She is starting to rub her eyes when she gets tired (much more helpful to me - as she can tell me much better what she needs) Continues to love tummy time and can officially hold her head up! Sleeps through the night for the most part (YEA!) - she goes to sleep about 7:45 and will sleep until about 4 or 5 in the morning and feed, then go back down until 7:30 or 8. Still does not cry to wake us up (grunts instead) which I am sure will change when

Hmm...

So we just got back from an amazing trip - full of family and celebration. Everything was absolutely amazing, so amazing that Preston and I realized that not only did we not take one picture the entire trip, but we didn't even pull the camera out of our suitcases - oops :-) We will try to get some pictures from other people. Our trip to Kansas was absolutely perfect. We got to help celebrate a new, and beautiful marriage (congrats Taylor and Laura) and Callie got to meet another side of our family. We are so glad that she got to spend so much time with family and she, of course, LOVED being held by so many special people that love her! It was a wonderful celebration that we are so glad we could be a part of. Callie is turning out to be quite the traveler. We tried really hard to keep her on Seattle time (which worked really well) and she slept in the hotel perfectly. The airplane trip was great. We got spoiled on the way there, as the flight was not totally full (apparently not m
