Bikes

We are now a family of 4 pretty impressive bike riders.

Sun River 2018

For mid winter break, we headed up to Sun River for the week. As always, it did not disappoint! The kids had a blast spending the week with Grandma and Grandpa, all their cousins, skiing, and playing in the snow. This year we started with no snow on the ground and ended with a blizzard that made driving home very tricky. Liam stayed home with Grandma while Callie and I skied. Although it is always hard to be left behind, he loves his Grandma so much and they had an absolute blast together. I'm also realizing that she took all the pictures so I have very few with her...major bummer! We celebrated these 2 boys on this trip.  When there is this many kids, you not only take over the whole run but there it is also very difficult to figure out which way to go.... Grandpa and his gang Pretty soon we won't all fit on one couch. Unfortunately our sister/dad ski day did not go as planned. Sarah took a spill the day before and was not able to ski with us for

4 Years Old!

I can't believe that Liam is 4! It blows my mind how quickly everything is happening and it is hard for me to remember sometimes that he is a big boy and no longer a baby. He still gives the best hugs and the best snuggles but is fiercely independent. He doesn't like to try things until he knows that he can master them but when he is a master at them, he could not be more proud. He continues to loves trucks but has opened up his mind a bit to superheros and rescue bots. Outside continues to be his favorite place in the world and is always up for a hike, a bike ride, or just all around exploring. If he can be a helper in any way then his ready to help - he loves to shadow Preston anywhere and everywhere. This year's questions:  How old are you? 4 What is your favorite thing to do? play with Callie What is your favorite color? Seahawks color What is your favorite food? stroganoff What is your favorite toy? my rescue bots What do you want to do when you grow up

Mom's Retirement!

The beginning of the year started a new chapter for my mom; retirement! We could not be happier and more proud of her. Luckily she let us help her celebrate with her surrounded by good friends and great family. The whole gang....it only took 30 mins and a random person walking by to get the perfect shot I sure love these ladies.... The photo booth was a big hit... Prom 2018 :)

The ski season

This ski season was full of pretty good snow and a lot of days on the mountain. I always forget how much Callie loves to ski until she starts again. She loves to rip it up on the mountain! Clara and Callie with the mountain all to themselves.  This year we started Liam. It took a lot of bribery and a lot of patience....but he reached the goal that I was hoping for - he wants to go again next year. He had a blast although he probably had more fun playing in the snow than skiing.  Grandpa joined us to help me encourage Liam  On the slopes..... Laurel and Callie also had some epic runs and loved pushing each other to try new things.  Thanks to Grandma, I even got my own "adult" ski day with friends and family! Liam and I headed up every Friday that we could. One of the Fridays, unfortunately we got stuck at the pass and spent a couple hours just sitting in the car. Luckily he is an easy one to entertain.  We had some gorgeous days o
