Christmas 2017

I am very behind on this post but needless to say, Christmas was amazing! We had a great day full of snow and excitement. Its been a long time since we have seen a white Christmas like this and it did not disappoint. Christmas morning we headed over to the Knowles house and had a blast playing in the snow, opening presents, and enjoying our new games. Afterwards, we headed to the cabin to lay low and enjoy the Grahams. All in all, it was perfect family time.

The Knowles cookie day was a success! More cookies than we could ever ask for.




Christmas day with all the cousins

The kiddos had some fun in the snow at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Some lasted longer than others but they all tried at least one run on the sled (except I think Maya stuck with the snowballs)




Grandpa was not feeling 100%, so Bennett got to carry on the tradition of handing out the gifts under the tree. He added his own camo twist to it.

We headed up to the cabin the day after Christmas. We had promised the kids that there would be snow there.....there wasn't so we got to spend the day driving up to the mountains. We didn't stop until we found snow.

Christmas with the Grahams

After Christmas, we met up with some friends at a new gym around us. Trampolines, foam pits, obstacle courses, and so much more. You'd think the kiddos died and went to heaven.
They loved this rock climbing wall. If you fell, you just landed in a giant foam pit. 

I didn't get many of Callie, she pretty much didn't stop moving.

Getting growy

Now that Liam has arrived, it's becoming more and more obvious how big and mature Callie is! I keep telling her that she needs to stop getting so big.....her response? "No, I want to get growy like you so I can open the blinds and drive all by myself!"......hmmm, not quite ready for that! But this weekend was a BIG weekend for Callie, Saturday I was feeding Liam and Callie was changing her babies when she ran off to the bathroom. After a couple minutes Preston ran to check on her and we found that she decided she was done with her pacifier and was throwing it into the trash (we had previously gotten rid of it until we found out she was afraid of the dark, and on our pediatrician's advice, gave it back to her after a month of no sleep). We went with it and Saturday she had her first pacifier free night......it was rough! Unfortunately Preston had to deal with the brunt of it, as I was up with Liam. Introducing.....Callie Lynn Graham

Our baby girl has finally come to join our family! Callie was born on August 10th at 6:34 pm., weighing in at 7 pounds 1 ounce and measuring 19.5 inches long. She is a absolute delight and Preston and I can't seem to get enough of her. Although the laboring went quickly, the delivery proved a bit trickier for me and we ended up needing to deliver by C-section. Callie was extremely healthy and was ready to leave the hospital even before I was! Due to a few complications, Preston, Callie, and I ended up staying at the hospital for 5 days. Luckily Preston has so much time off of work - don't know what we would have done if he needed to go back after a week. We can't seem to say enough positive things about the nursing staff at St. Joseph's hospital. They were amazing! Although it was not fun staying at the hospital that long (especially since we only packed our bag for one night) we got a lot of extra help with nursing and overall care of Callie. Mothers Day Weekend

We had amazing weather for Mother's Day weekend and tried to enjoy every minute of the summer. On Sunday, Callie and I ran the color run. A 5k through Seattle which involved a lot of dust and color. It was a lot of fun and  I was super proud of her and how she pushed herself. Before the race. Shirts are still white and hair is still normal color. We ran with one of Callie's good friends and her mom.  Bubbles! That was a highlight for Callie, she loved running through the bubbles.  Done! Color and dust everywhere! We spent Saturday with Katy and Dennis and explored Renton and a local beach and park. Callie and Katy The gang! Saturday was so beautiful that we actually went home and the kids ran in the sprinklers and played in the bathing suits all day.
