Fourth of July Fun

We headed up to Hoodsport for the Fourth of July weekend. We were joined with the Sarions and the Jones clan. A lot of smiles, a lot of giggles, and a lot of memories were made. The kids had a lot of late nights which included fireworks and movies. I think it is safe to say that the kids had fun and the grown ups got to relax a bit.
Somehow we managed to actually get a good shot of all the kids (Lola included)

It's so nice to be able to go away for a weekend with family and have the kids truly enjoy each other. You can see how much they love being around each other in their smiles and faces!

This little boy had so much fun but was so exhausted by the last day!

Halloween

I can' believe thanksgiving is right around the corner! This year has already started off quickly and continues to snowball even quicker. We had a blast over halloween, the kids enjoyed do don't pumpkins, challenging our carving skills, trick or treating with friends and callie even did her first haunted house (although I'm not sure she will do another one in a long time. Ha!).
We hit up the pumpkin patch on a beautiful (very cold) day. The kiddos played in corn, completed the maze, and tried to find the biggest pumpkins they could find.

The kiddos pumpkins definitely show each of their personalities. Liam stuck with a truck this year and callie wanted a witch with her cat....she got a cat :)
Liam dressed up as a dinosaur this year (thank you grandma for the amazing costume) and callie was a cheetah. We went trick or treating on Saturday with
some very good friends are Saturday (we weren't
sure how long they would make it on halloween) .

Husky Game

UW recently had a Girl Scout night at one of the Husky games. Preston was out hunting so I took the kiddos by myself (and met Sarah and Rey there). It went surprisingly well - especially since the game ended up being a 7:30 pm game. Luckily Liam napped the whole way there and was able to rally when it was game time. Callie's highlights of the game was being there with her cousins, the cheerleaders, and the marching band. She wasn't too interested in the football aspect.
Although the stadium was not loud, Liam insisted on wearing headphones. He didn't take them off once and even fell asleep with them on in the car.

Enthralled with the marching band
Hopefully some future Huskies!

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's day with a beautiful weekend of kayaking and walking around UW. The kiddos loved the kayaks and we enjoyed exploring the waters and the arboretum. After a fun kayaking adventure, we headed to UW campus and had a picnic. The kids loved exploring the campus with their scooters.

Was so nice to have the campus to ourselves

The boy boat. Liam was not super happy about being in the kayak and took some convincing to get in. After about 10 minutes of pouting he decided that he loved it!
