Snow Day

We were blessed with 2 snow days this week. It was so much fun spending the day outside in the snow and playing around. Both kiddos spent all day in the snow and loved every minute of it. We made snowmen, went sledding, made snow cones and snow ice cream, had a snowball fight and went for a long walk around the neighborhood. It started snowing Sunday night and the kids ran outside trying to catch snowflakes in their mouths I'm pretty sure Liam's favorite was to eat the snow.... Maya, Laurel, and Sarah came over and enjoyed the snow with us. The girls made a giant snow head. And ate snow cones.... Our family of snowmen!

New Moves...

Not sure where he learned to dance but he's got some new moves.....

Underwear!!

Can I just say how excited I am that we no longer have to buy diapers ever?! Liam is officially potty trained. It was a much different process than with Callie but we are figuring out quickly that everything will be :) One proud little boy!

The Holiday Season

Whew! This season has been a busy, busy blast! We managed to keep busy the whole winter break, in the best possible way. We worked hard to enjoy every minute of the season and took advantage of every day of no school. We started winter break with a fun weekday ski date with Grandpa and the Jones clan. We ended up with a beautiful day and the kids ended up lasting all day. A lot of great, long runs were skied. The day was full of sunshine and great snow. The mountain was absolutely beautiful! Everyone got to ride together because Crystal Mountain has 6 person chairs Clara and Callie had so much fun skiing together. A bit timid at first but as the day went on, Amy and I were told we needed to stay behind them because they were the "leaders" Love my ski buddy! Part of Callie's Christmas present this year was a date night with just Preston and I. Liam got to stay home and snuggle with Grandma as we headed out to the Fifth Avenue theater to watch The Li...

Thanksgiving

Thankgiving was amazing! We managed to enjoy family, play football, go hiking, go beaching, and overall just relax. Our Thanksgiving started out at the Knowles house complete with our first annual flag football game; Grunders vs. the Broncos. So thankful that everyone got out on the field and there were many, many giggles and fun had by all. The painting of the field and team names No smiles at first....a bit apprehensive at the beginning but she got into it very quickly we started out with our own cheering squad Friendly coin toss Halftime snuggles by the fire Teammates The kids showing off their muscles at halftime After the game, we had an amazing dinner complete with an actual kids table. We started some new and amazing traditions this year! After dinner we headed to our cabin and spent the rest of the rainy weekend at the cabin. We hiked a bit (although it was so wet!), enjoyed some ice cream, and tried to find crabs at the beach.  Ca...
