A boy and his sister....

This about sums up their relationship!

Nine Months!

Here we go again....another month gone and another month closer to one year old. He seems to have grown very quickly this month. He is a happy, giggly, loving, little boy! He now weighs 22 pounds 6 ounces (holy cow....so big!) and is 30.5 inches tall (above the 98 percentile for height). He is officially too heavy for his infant car seat and has been moved up to the larger car seat. We were hoping that would make him more content in the car but it has not.... He has started babbling a bit (very loudly). It doesn't seem to bother him where we are and will do it in the library, the store, anywhere! He is a social butterfly. Anywhere, anytime, he draws strangers in with his big blue eyes and his super cute smile. It doesn't seem to take much :) He is obsessed with his blanket. He snuggles, loves, bites, plays...whatever with it. We didn't realize how attached he was to it until it needed to be washed and the washer was broken! We quickly fixed it :) I've said this...

8 Months!!!

Holy cow! Time is flying by too fast! I am very late on this post....better late than ever right?! Our boy is 8 months old and growing as fast as can be. He is crawling everywhere and really wants to stand up. I'm sure one of these days, I will turn around and he will be standing all by himself.  He is starting to pull himself up on things but often just lets go of whatever he is standing with and falls right down.  We are getting more and more teeth. He has his bottom teeth and one side top tooth - the front 2 teeth and other side tooth is coming in as we speak.  He is very loud and seriously voices his thoughts about his car seat....his thoughts are never positive about the car. He continues to be a picky eater but has started doing more finger food. I've figured out we are going to need to mix his veggies in his fruit in order for him to eat them without complaint.  His sleep continues to be extremely sporadic....nothing else to say about that :) He, ...

Halloween

We grew our own pumpkins in our garden this year and ended up with a lot of pumpkins. Callie really wanted a green one so we picked hers early.  Ha! :-) The clothes quickly came off of Liam (we had to make Callie keep hers on) Emptying her pumpkin...one seed at a time.... We had to give him the pacifier to keep the pumpkin out of his mouth Carving a kitty into her pumpkin Our finished products We had a day off from Maya's school and took advantage of it to visit the local farm to play.  The gang (including one tired boy) Jumping in the hay Driving the fire truck The train ride Then Halloween night, we headed to Amy's to trick or treat....We had a blast! Callie finally understood what Halloween meant and truly ran from house to house....anything to get a bit of candy :-) My little crab The best I could get :-) Elsa and a crab The gang Trick or treating

Last Arizona Pic

Callie has totally become a fish.....

More Arizona

I missed this pictures and had to include them! Gram got a small (pink) pool that Callie got to splash in when the big pool was closed....

Arizona

I realize I am a bit behind on updating the blog (Liam's 8 month post will be up shortly) and am trying to update. The kids and I spent a wonderful (and hot) 5 days visiting Gram in Arizona. It was amazing!!! Callie had a blast (she got to swim everyday - she was in heaven!) and Liam loved the freedom of no schedule! It was a lot of fun and I am so happy for our kids to be able to spend so much quality time with their great grandma. I am sure she is still resting from the whirlwind that is an 8 month old baby and a 3 year old girl. We went to the children's museum, the zoo, and swam every day. Although I would probably choose not to fly with an 8 month old and 3 year old by myself again, it was worth every minute! These pictures are a bit out of order but I don't want to spend time getting them organized :) The vacation was completely exhausting for both kids! We worked them very hard every day with hopes that they would both be amazing sleepers and I could get a good ...
